Did you know there is a week dedicated to financial education in Colorado? Since we’re Colorado gals, a shout out to Money Smart Colorado and Colorado Jump$tart for these fun (and FREE) classes.
From the Money Smart Colorado website:
Money Smart Colorado is a public awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. This is achieved through the collaboration and coordinated effort of organizations across the state including businesses, financial institutions, schools, libraries, not-for-profits, government agencies and the media. These partners come together once a year to stress the importance of financial literacy, inform consumers where they can get help, and provide free educational seminars and activities throughout the week.
As supporters of financial education (and saving money), I encourage you to check out the free classes available all week. Some classes of interest to me: Wills and Trusts, What’s your number? What you need to save today to enjoy tomorrow, Small Money, Big Taste: Eating Well on a Budget.
