The Women’s Saving Club was created as an outlet for us and our friends to support each other, inspire each other and hold each other accountable in money issues. So often, finances are a taboo discussion topic — the Women’s Saving Club is here to inspire us to change some savings habits, embrace new ones and learn from some of the amazing women in our life. Plus, we get to see each other every month!
This website makes our goals public, so we act on them. Plus, we’ll include other interesting financial/savings posts that are good for club meeting fodder. Some of us want to sock away some money for retirement, children’s college or want to save for travel or the holidays. Our club members are cool gals with ambition, initiative and an inclination toward sustainability. We all learn something from each other when we embrace our differences and support each other.
Our amazing women are: business owners, public relations and marketing professionals, development directors, lawyers, bloggers, mothers, future mothers, married and single women.
Women’s Saving Club Founders, Kate Wilson Stabrawa and Tara Tongco Rojas, who were spurred to think of this idea from TIAA-CREF’s Raise the Rate contest.
